“And at the end of the day, your feet should be dirty, your hair messy and your eyes sparkling.”
Our enriching BUTTERFLY classroom provides an inspiring environment, encouraging exploration, stimulation, and rich learning experiences. This classroom is connecting to a large outdoor classroom and co-taught with our Dragonfly 4’s class for all outdoor learning; youth has the option to spend the majority of their day outside, learning and creating in our gardens, by the creek, etc.
Senses play a major role in the learning process of young children. Our Butterflies delight in exploring the world around them through touching, moving, listening, seeing and hearing. Our children spend their days outdoors, working on ART + Tinkering, exploring in nature, and learning critical skills to prepare for their next class (PRE-4) through play-based learning on centers and activity stations. Our new indoor-outdoor connected classroom will not only provide holistic gardening and nutrition education, but also mindfulness studies + yoga.
ADDED SESSIONS: Yoga, BeeKeeping, Mindfulness studies + Botany.
Individual REGGIO EMILIA inspired portfolios will be created where the development and early learning experiences of each child are documented throughout their journey in our Schools. Teachers share your children’s days via weekly email newsletter, while we create individual learning plans for each student (Goals + Objective that help with our Assessment Periods).
